Your role and responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

1. Order management and plan execution

• Work closely with business departments, receive and review the accuracy of transportation orders, and execute scientific transportation plans.
• Be proficient in operating of Transportation Management System (TMS) and release accurate transportation instructions to designated carriers.

2. Carrier management

• Be responsible for the daily management and assessment of carriers, supervise carriers to implement strictly standard operating procedures (SOP), and ensure that performance (KPI) of carriers meet standards.
• Assess regularly the performance of carriers, identify and solve problems promptly.

3. In-transit monitoring and exception handling

• Track comprehensively in-transit status of goods and proactively warn of potential delay risks.
• Take the lead in handling issues such as cargo damage, delay, and abnormal receipt, and record abnormal information in detail as required.

4. Document management and data maintenance

• Be responsible for the collection, verification and archiving management of copies of signed receipts (Pods).
• Maintain the data of the TMS system to ensure the accuracy, completeness and traceability of transportation information, providing a solid foundation for data analysis.

5. Cost optimization and continuous improvement

• Based on data analysis, continuously optimize the transportation plan to reduce transportation costs.
• Regularly collect and analyze transportation operation data, formulate service improvement plans, and continuously enhance service quality.

Job Requirements:

1. Educational background

• College degree or above, majoring in logistics management or related fields is preferred.

2. Work experience

• Have more than 2 years of relevant working experience in logistics operation or transportation management, be familiar with transportation processes and the management model of carriers.

3. Core skills

• System Capability: Familiarity with Office software is required. Candidates with practical experience in TMS (Transportation Management System) are preferred.
• Language proficiency: Possess good English reading and writing skills.

4. Comprehensive quality

• Logical thinking: Possessing excellent data analysis skills and logical thinking, capable of identifying problems from data and proposing solutions.
• Communication and Coordination: Possessing outstanding cross-departmental communication skills and multi-party coordination abilities and being adept at promptly handling abnormal situations.
• Professional Ethics: Work meticulously and rigorously, with a strong sense of cost, customer service and responsibility.
