Job Description

The Position holder is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain function as an intern in the Logistics department.

Successful position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems and they demonstrate proactive behavior along with a positive outlook, exhibiting initiative and a keen interest in Supply Chain operations.

Your responsibilities within the team can vary from:

  • Monitor shipment execution, track shipment movements and manage deviations with our logistics suppliers while keeping internal stakeholders updated.
  • Plan effective shipment/truck routings, leverage consolidation/cargo optimization, and maximize backload opportunities to drive down costs.
  • Validate transport requests and required delivery dates for a defined geographic region or lane(s) to achieve on-time delivery.
  • Manage international or domestic logistics movements ensuring compliance with Schlumberger policies and processes as well as local regulations.
  • Act as the interface with the Import/Export Teams and assure smooth communication flow between parties.


Qualification & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
  • Curiosity or drive regarding Logistics.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • English medium to advanced.
