We are working with a major European engineering company who are looking for a Senior Automated Logistics Engineer on a contract basis to support on a large pharmaceutical project in the Copenhagen area.

About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Senior Automated Logistics Engineer with extensive hands-on experience working with automated logistics and in integrating IT and OT systems, particularly within pharma projects.


Key Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering fit-for-purpose automated logistics solutions in OT environments
• Integrating control systems with platforms such as SAP EWM, PAS-X, fleet managers, DCS, and PLC solutions
• Contributing to standardisation efforts and alignment with target architectures
• Documenting, testing, and verifying solutions in new and existing facilities
• Collaborating with a broad stakeholder landscape across the company, customers, IT partners, and suppliers

Required Qualifications

• Education: Degree in a related field and 5+ years experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Experience working with automated logistics and complex data structures in industrial environments
• Understanding of integration between IT and OT systems, including ERP, MES, and DCS/PCS layers
• Experience with system integration testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with industrial networks and communication protocols such as OPC-UA and Profinet
• Knowledge of GMP / GAMP requirements in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
