We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Safety Agent to oversee workplace warehouse and logistics operations. You will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with regulations, and practise safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support deployment of Vestas' HSE strategy and zero-accident culture
- Promote HSE awareness and behavioral change across the site
- Provide expert advice on safety programs and compliance
- Support development and implementation of site-specific HSE initiatives
- Facilitate safety training and awareness campaigns
- Monitor safety performance and support incident resolution
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in WHS (or working toward) preferred.
- Incident investigation training (e.g., ICAM, TapRoot) is desirable.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work across operational areas as required.
Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse, logistics, tools management, or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation, codes of practice, and risk management principles.
- Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control implementation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence safe behaviours at all levels.
- Proactive problem ‑ solving mindset and ability to make sound safety recommendations.
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to build relationships, coach staff, and foster a positive safety culture.
- Competent in reporting, documentation, and use of digital HSE systems.
- Adaptable and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
