Construction Superintendent (Civil)

Working Location: Qatar Onshore - Doha, Raslaffan
Contract Type: 36 months

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate large-scale construction activities related to civil and structural disciplines in the Oil and Gas industry
- Lead and supervise teams, including contractors and vendor/service personnel, ensuring work compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedules
- Review, interpret, and translate approved for construction drawings, design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria specific to onshore LNG facilities and utility systems
- Prepare, approve, and/or verify instrument installation plans and work within advanced work packing and document control systems
- Ensure the quality and completion of civil and structural construction work, applying industry best practices and guidance throughout project phases
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with project teams, maintaining accurate documentation and technical records across multiple project sites

Requirements:
- Diploma with discipline/trade specific vocational certification
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in large-scale construction projects within the Oil and Gas sector, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or acting oversight role
- Proficient in IT tools such as Word, Excel, and PDF for reporting and communication purposes
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings, Primavera schedules, and use 3D model review software such as Navisworks
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and consolidating technical and project documentation
- Extensive knowledge of civil and structural construction methodologies, particularly as applied to major LNG projects
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and guidelines
