Status: Rotational – 4 weeks on-site / 4 weeks off-site

Key Responsibilities

Act as the company's representative onboard the rigid pipelay vessel, ensuring full compliance with HSE standards during operations.

Participate in hazard assessments and implement the Emergency Response Plan when necessary.

Supervise the following activities onboard:
- Spooling and deck operations
- Supply/barge activities
- Equipment transfers, pipelay operations, and subsea ROV works
- Lifting, overboarding, lowering, and subsea structure landings

Ensure all procedures are strictly followed, with any modifications managed via the Management of Change (MOC) process.

Coordinate with onshore teams and other vessels during simultaneous operations (SIMOPS).

Review and sign installation readiness certificates once satisfactory preparation levels are achieved.

Maintain daily reporting of activities and liaise with contractors and other stakeholders to optimize operations.
Qualifications & Expertise

Language: Proficient in English (mandatory).

Professional Expertise:
- Advanced experience in offshore project supervision, particularly in SURF Rigid Pipelay activities.
- Recent participation in a deep-water project is preferred.
- Strong understanding of SURF installation engineering and offshore operations.

Certifications:
- Mandatory: BOSIET, HUET
- Additional: GSES certification (preferred)
Working Environment
- Offshore rotational role with a standard day shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM).
- Operations conducted in a SIMOPS environment involving live FPSOs and congested seabeds, requiring precise coordination and risk management.
- Close collaboration with onshore teams in Luanda and other contractors.
