Key Responsibilities:
- Integrity Management: Develop and implement comprehensive integrity management programs for refinery assets, including pipelines, pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and other critical infrastructure.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct detailed risk assessments to identify potential integrity threats and vulnerabilities within the refinery. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to manage and reduce risks.
- Inspection and Monitoring: Oversee and coordinate inspection and monitoring activities, including non-destructive testing (NDT), corrosion monitoring, and structural health monitoring. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data Analysis: Analyze inspection and monitoring data to assess asset condition and performance. Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to interpret results and provide actionable insights.
- Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies to ensure the continued integrity and reliability of refinery assets. Prioritize maintenance activities based on risk and criticality.
- Failure Analysis: Investigate and analyze failures and incidents related to asset integrity. Identify root causes and develop corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all integrity management activities comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Stay updated on changes in regulations and standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to asset integrity. Prepare and present performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including operations, maintenance, and safety, to ensure effective integrity management. Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Project Management: Lead and manage integrity-related projects, including inspection campaigns, maintenance shutdowns, and asset upgrades. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to refinery staff on integrity management practices, inspection techniques, and maintenance strategies. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend new technologies and software solutions to enhance integrity management capabilities. Oversee the implementation and integration of new systems.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of integrity management activities, including inspection reports, maintenance records, and risk assessments. Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., API 510/570/653, NACE, ASNT) are a plus.
- Minimum of [15] years of experience in refinery integrity management, including experience with risk assessment, inspection, and maintenance strategies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing integrity-related projects and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of refinery operations, integrity management practices, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in integrity management software and tools (e.g., RBI software, CMMS).
