Ima Project (OML112/117, Nigeria): Minimal wellhead platform with a 23km pipeline to BNAG CPF. FEED starts in Q1 2025, with FID in Q4 2025 and first oil in Q1 2028.

Are you a Technical Safety Engineer looking for a dynamic opportunity in the Oil & Gas sector? We are seeking an experienced Lead Safety Engineer to oversee and coordinate all safety engineering aspects of the GPI Ntokon and Ima projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical authority for safety engineering, ensuring designs meet industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and oversee safety concepts, philosophies, risk assessments (QRA, FRA, ERA), and technical studies.
- Supervise subcontracted studies, review contractor deliverables, and manage documentation updates.
- Ensure compliance with H3SE policies, support technical audits, and participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, PR reviews.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Total Nigeria and HQ specialists.
- Provide technical support for vendor selection, factory inspections, and contractual discussions.
- Support interface management with process, piping, instrumentation, and rotating equipment teams.

Requirements:
- Chartered Technical Safety Engineer or equivalent qualification.
- Strong expertise in process engineering, with knowledge of piping, instrumentation, and rotating equipment.
- Proficiency in QRA methodology, risk assessments, safety distance calculations, and CFD simulations.
- 10-15 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Construction, with 10 years in a similar role.
- Fluent in English.
