Job Title: Fabrication & Hookup Lead
Contract Duration: 36 Months
Location: Qatar (Onshore)
Work Hours: 10 hours/day
Work Schedule: 6 days/week (26 days/month)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication & Hookup Lead to support the Head of Fabrication and Hookup in the execution of a major oil & gas project. The ideal candidate will provide technical, constructability, and completions expertise, ensuring alignment with project specifications, contractual requirements, and industry best practices. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred. A High Diploma with supporting experience may be considered.
15+ years of experience in the execution of major oil & gas projects, with at least 10 years of offshore execution experience within an oil & gas environment.
Strong knowledge of project execution procedures, onshore & offshore construction, testing, and completions .
International experience in Qatar or the Middle East is preferred.
Ability to read, review, and comment on construction documents, engineering specifications, design reports, and data sheets .
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Head of Fabrication & Hookup in overseeing project execution.
Provide technical and constructability input to ensure smooth execution of works.
Ensure contractual and technical requirements are met as per the AGREEMENT with the EPC CONTRACTOR.
Develop and review execution procedures , ensuring alignment with all stakeholders.
Work closely with COMPANY, CONTRACTOR, and interfacing teams to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.
Provide timely review of CONTRACTOR's documents and deliverables .
Participate in project risk assessments and reviews, including What-If, HAZID, HAZOP, Model Reviews, Constructability Reviews, and SIMOPS .
Demonstrate visible leadership in Quality and HSE .
