Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Instrument Supervisor II (Offshore) to lead the maintenance and reliability of instrumentation and control systems across our offshore facilities. This role serves not only as a technical lead but also as a mentor and coach, helping to develop junior technicians and ensure the smooth operation of control systems, including PLCs and SCADA.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems, including sensors, analyzers, PLCs, and pneumatic instruments.

Provide technical support during commissioning, start-up, and site acceptance testing of new installations.

Maintain and update preventive maintenance schedules using SAP/CMMS.

Monitor equipment inventories and coordinate spare parts procurement.

Lead system upgrades, recommend replacements for obsolete equipment, and support OT cybersecurity practices.

Mentor instrument technicians, identify skill gaps, and support succession planning and on-the-job development.

Ensure HSE compliance in line with company, local, and international regulations including permit-to-work systems, electrical isolation, and hazardous area practices.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Proven expertise in PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems.

Strong understanding of system commissioning, failure analysis, and instrumentation for level, flow, and process control.

Valid certifications in PLC, SCADA, or DCS platforms are highly preferred.

Familiarity with HSE practices and ability to conduct risk and OT vulnerability assessments.
