Job Title: HSE Supervisor – FPSO (Angola, 4x4 Rotation) Location: Offshore Angola
Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
Reports to: Offshore Installation Manager
Contract Type: Rotational / Offshore

Job Purpose: To ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures onboard the FPSO, promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. The HSE Supervisor will support operational teams in achieving compliance with international and local regulations, company standards, and industry best practices.

 

• Lead and coordinate all HSE activities onboard the FPSO.
• Monitor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Facilitate incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and follow-up.
• Promote safety awareness through toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training.
• Maintain and update HSE documentation, including logs, reports, and permits.
• Support emergency response drills and ensure readiness of safety equipment.
• Liaise with onshore HSE teams and regulatory bodies as required.
• Provide HSE induction and training for new personnel and contractors.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives in HSE performance.

REQUIRED

• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent HSE qualification. BOSIET. 
• Minimum 8 years of HSE experience in offshore oil & gas operations, preferably on FPSOs.
• Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Familiarity with Angolan regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Proven experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; Portuguese is a plus.
