Job Card Preparator: Main missions and responsibilities

Prepare detailed job cards for construction, maintenance, mechanical, piping, structural and lifting activities.

Collect all necessary technical inputs (drawings, method statements, welding data, lifting plans, materials lists).

Ensure all job cards include required steps, tools, resources, risks, and HSE constraints.

Coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE, and lifting teams to ensure job readiness.

Update job cards based on redlines, field returns and modifications during execution.

Support offshore execution teams by clarifying job steps and technical requirements.

Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project standards and procedures.

Participate in preparation meetings and interface with the Planning and Construction departments.
Profile and required skills for the Job Card Preparator position
Education
-
Technical diploma or degree in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, construction, or related field.
Experience
-
3–7 years in job preparation, work pack development, construction support, or maintenance engineering.

Experience in oil & gas mandatory.

Offshore experience desirable.
Skills
-
Fluent English mandatory.

Strong understanding of construction or maintenance workflows.

Ability to interpret drawings, P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications.

Good knowledge of offshore HSE constraints and safe work methodologies.

Rigorous, methodical, detail-oriented.

Experience with CMMS or job card systems is a plus.
