As a Senior Marine Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end marine systems design projects, focusing on cutting-edge Floating Production Storage and Offloading units (FPSOs) and potentially Floating LNG solutions.

As a Senior Marine Engineer, you will take ownership of end-to-end marine systems design projects, focusing on cutting-edge Floating Production Storage and Offloading units (FPSOs) and potentially Floating LNG solutions.
This pivotal role challenges you to deliver high-quality, cost-effective designs that meet stringent technical and regulatory standards, all while navigating dynamic project demands and collaborating with global teams and shipyards.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in Marine Systems Engineering and Design across Pre-FEED, FEED, and Detailed Design phases.
- Strong technical expertise in conceptual and detailed design of marine and production systems for floating units such as FPSOs, FSOs, Oil & Gas Carriers, Chemical Tankers, and drilling units.
- Sound knowledge of interfacing disciplines including Naval, Electrical & Instrumentation, Piping, HVAC, Process Engineering, Technical Safety, and Regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with classification society rules and standards (ABS, DNV GL, BV, Lloyd’s) and Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) policies.
- Ability to specify, evaluate, and select marine equipment with a balance between technological innovation and commercial viability.
- Experience conducting safety and risk assessments using methods such as HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and Safety Instrumented Function Reports.
- Strong decision-making skills, stakeholder focus, resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
- Experience working with shipyards, marine equipment manufacturers, or shipboard operations.
- Background in Engineering & Design or Operations of LNG carriers.
- Exposure to Floating LNG product development.
- Ability to thrive under high workload peaks and manage shifting priorities effectively.
- MSc or BSc degree (or equivalent professional certification) in Marine Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Higher Seafaring College, or General Operational Technology (AOT).
- At least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in marine systems design with proven results on offshore floating units.
- Flexibility to travel and work onsite at various project offices or shipyards worldwide for short or long-term assignments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders globally.
