No experience / No degreeNES Fircroft is recruiting a Medic HSEA Advisor for offshore projects mobilising out of Norwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our leading Oil & Gas operator client's QSSHE team, supporting various offshore assets in the Southern North Sea.
Rotation: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off, 12-hour shifts
Mobilisation: From Norwich
Travel & Accommodation: Mileage covered or economy travel; hotel provided night before mobilisation if required.
Duration: 3 years (potential for on-going long-term work)
Job Role:
The primary function of this role is to promote, develop and maintain a Health, Safety and Environmentally aware asset using combined specialist knowledge of team members, and to provide a comprehensive Medic and Occupational Heath function to our offshore platforms and associated NUI’s.
Alongside the medical aspect, you will be required to deliver a high level of safety support and coaching to management and platform staff to ensure their regulatory and legislative compliance with regards to Health, Safety & Environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- To provide comprehensive Medic and Occupational Health function to the platform and associated NUI’s
- HSE Performance Act as point of contact for all HSE issues and support for offshore platform
- Provide emergency medical response, primary medical care, and occupational health services.
- Ensure medical equipment and consumables are maintained.
- Act as a focal point for RIDDOR reporting and various HSE functions, including COSHH, noise management, manual handling, HAVs, asbestos, potable water, and radiation protection.
- Responsible for the management and control of Hand Arm Vibration (HAVs) exposure
- Deliver safety coaching and compliance support to offshore personnel.
- Conduct inductions, training, audits, and risk assessments.
- Support safety meetings, emergency exercises, and environmental compliance.
- Offshore Medic Certificate.
- OGUK Offshore Survival.
- NEBOSH Health & Safety Certificate (Diploma preferred).
- Occupational hygiene qualifications (Asbestos, COSHH, Noise, Vibration) preferred.
- Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) qualification (preferred).
- Strong risk assessment, incident investigation, and auditing skills.
