SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for a MWS Coordinator to join its work force in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the involvement of the MWS across all relevant offshore and marine activities, including:Load-out, transportation, and tow-out
- Lifting and offshore installation,
- Subsea installation and marine spreads.
- Ensure MWS scope is clearly understood and applied consistently across the IMA packages
- Align MWS technical reviews, site attendance, and approvals with site execution schedules across the packages
- Act as primary coordination interfaces between the MWS and Ima stakeholders (Package Managers, EPC/Marine Contractors, HSE, and installation teams)
- Ensure that marine procedures, method statements, lift plans, and marine analyses are submitted to the MWS in a timely manner
- Track MWS review status for all activities and maintain a live register of:Documents under review
- MWS comments and required actions
- Conditions of approval and closure status
- Ensure that MWS inputs are reflected in:Marine risk assessments
- Safety milestone reviews - HAZIDs, SIMOPs, and offshore execution plans
- Provide regular status reports on MWS activities, approvals, and outstanding actions.
- Accountabilities
- Timely and effective coordination of MWS services across all applicable offshore and marine scopes.
- All marine operations are supported by the required MWS reviews, approvals, and certificates.
- MWS comments and conditions are clearly communicated, tracked, and closed before execution.
- No offshore execution delays or incidents attributable to poor coordination or late MWS engagement.
- Clear visibility of MWS status, risks, and constraints provided to Project Management.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Qualification: Engineering or marine - related background.
Professional Experience (number of years): 10 - 15 years in offshore and marine activities in the oil and gas industry.
Experience within project: practical understanding of the role of Marine Warranty surveyor in the projects.
