JOB PURPOSE (Why the position exists)
To act as the company technical verifier and representative at site in accordance with the approved Loadout Coordination Manual issued by Field Engineer/PMT. This role is responsible for witnessing, verifying and advising on all activities related to Transportation and Installation offshore.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (LIST 10 TO 12)
- Act as the Company Site Representative - Represent the company at fabrication yard to ensure loadout position as per approved drawing and procedure.
- Ensure compliance with Loadout Coordination Manual - Monitor and verify that all readiness follows the approved drawing and LCM.
- Witness critical loadout operation - Personally witness critical operations such as major lifting, skidding, weighing, seafastening and barge sailaway preparation.
- Verify lifting rigging arrangement - Check that the lifting wires, slings, shackles and other rigging components are correctly tagged, installed and positioned based on drawing and actual condition.
- Monitor structure clearance and lifting path - Assess and advise on any potential structure interferences that may affect safe lifting and installation offshore based on advice from PMT.
- Witness trial-fit - Ensure all trial-fit activity is similar to offshore operation.
- Verify barge ballast pattern - Ensure barge ballast pattern complies with approved transportation study and that COG, trim and stability are within design limits.
- Coordinate with marine and logistic focal point - Actively engage with internal teams, client representatives, marine warranty surveyors and fabricator to ensure alignment and smooth barge and tug boat sailout to offshore.
- Identify and report non-conformities - Issue site punch list for any work that does not comply with procedures or poses risk to offshore activities.
- Provide technical advisory at site - Offer sound technical recommendations to reduce risks or rectify issues based on actual site condition and constructability considerations.
- Ensure offshore readiness prior to sailaway - Validate that all loadout and preparation works are completed and meet offshore readiness before accepting barge for sailout.
- Safeguard company interest - Maintain transparency, timely reporting and technical vigilance to protect company interests in terms of safety, quality, schedule and cost avoidance.

QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Industrial Engineering Management
- Master in Business Management

- Plays a key role in preventing non-compliance issues that may lead to offshore rework, delays or costly reinstallation.

- Delay in sailaway schedule may lead to commercial penalties and damage to reputation.
- Non-compliance with loadout procedures may compromise offshore installation fit.

- The role involves technical coordination and supervision of site field engineers, fabricator PMT and third-party verifiers during loadout.

D. Key Stakeholders
- Internal: T&I Construction Manager, Project Manager and Senior Field Engineer.
- External: Client representatives, fabricator team, marine warranty surveyor.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 7 years of experience in oil and gas (T&I scope).
- Hands-on experience in coordinating and witnessing loadout activities involving jackets, topsides, modules or large structures.
- Experience in engaging with marine warranty surveyors, fabricators and client interfaces in high-pressure environments.

MAIN CHALLENGES OF THIS POSITION

Challenge #1:
- Coordination with various parties such as fabricator, client, marine warranty surveyor and internal T&I team requires diplomacy, clarity and consistency.

Challenge #2:
- Any mistake or oversight by the engineer may complicate the situation at the fabricator's yard, potentially leading to failure during offshore installation and negatively impacting the overall installation schedule.
