About the role:
Responsible for the assembly of new pressure control and wellhead products, Material Handling and other relevant activities in line with Engineering drawing, API, VGS and manufacturing orders without compromising on Quality, Environment, Health and Safety
Essential Responsibilities:
- Read-understand Engineering Drawing, VGS, API, Other Engineering procedures like FAT / SIT.
- Clean, perform layout, take down the traceability, assemble / disassemble the equipment and test per VGS, API, Mos or other engineering procedures. Shall be able to train new Fitters.
- Set up, operate, and maintain machinery, lifting gears & other related equipment in the workshop.
- Fill up and maintain torque map, drift test report, Actuator function test report and records traceability prior to assembly and sign off the WO accordingly after completion of work.
- Inspect and maintain all tools required for the job. Shall be a part of team to improve cycle time & reduce COPQ.
- Do proper housekeeping in work area and do 5S inspection accordingly to schedule.
- Should be able to identify test fixtures required for the job.
- Meet delivery schedules on weekly target basis.
- Participation in identifying and finding solution to problems.
- Material movement and using overhead crane.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and operations.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Able to perform Blasting and Painting of wellhead and flow control products under guidance of ME and supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent diploma.
- Attention to details
- Able to work under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills,
- Able to work with people of various social, cultural and religious backgrounds
