Job Purpose | - Reporting to Head of Hook-up, the Hook-up Lead is responsible for leading the NFXP Offshore Hook-up requirements for NFXP Topsides to ensure objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule. And to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable.

Key Accountabilities (Duties include but not limited to) | - Provide demonstrable competency and previous experience to advise, make recommendations and leads as the Project Focal Point regarding the following Project hook-up analysis; including jack up barge moblisataion and de-moblisataion. Is rersponsible for, yard mooring and transportation barge(s) ballast, sea fastening, tow stability, offshore mooring(s), installation and positioning, vessel impact and general marine operations
- Hook-up Lead shall be expected to provide complete competency and be fully conversant with the analysis of Topsides fatigue, field seismic conditions and potential related issues.
- Inspection and audit of Marine vessels, including vessel suitability for work scope(s) including liasing with the Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS).
- Focal point at site, for implementing safety leadership and safe execution of the work and assist Head of Hook Up in executing Project responsibilities.
- Manage the blasting & flooding of the barge, Offshore transportation, hook-up requirements of the Project, to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget, schedule and ensure technical interfaces with Project PMT, Site PMT, MWS and Contractors are managed effectively.
- Support external interfaces with RLIC (Ras Laffan Industiral City), other operators and schedule & arrange technical support to shareholders.
- Ensure contractor design documents and other submittals, including work packs, jobcards & L4 schedule but not limited, are reviewed and approved in accordance with the EPC contract requirements. Reiview, comment and approve the contractor and company readiness requiremnts for hook up.
- Ensure technical aspects of the Risk Management Plan are managed effectively and review & approve design changes, coordinate all onshore and hook up changes specification revisions and exceptions in accordance with the Project Management of Change (PMOC) processes.
- Manage the training of employees and ensure they are up to date, and all equipment is maintained to a high standard. Coordinate with Business Support Specialist readiness and moblisation of company personnel for Offshore phase. Follow up on the punch list rasied by Marine or MWS.

Reporting and Relationships | - Reports to: NFXP Offshore Head of Hook Up - Topsides & STPs.
- Direct reports: Offshore Hook Up Superintedents, Inspectors/HSE Officers
Internal - NFXP Offshore Head and Lead of Interface Jackets & Topsides, Commissioning Head and Business Support Speciliasit.
- NFXP Offshore Topside head of Quality and HSE.
External - Marine, Major Projects Marine team

Job Context & Major Challenge(s) | - Must be able to execute work both Onshore and Offshore as needed including rotational assignments as required.Interfaces with Contractor Marine Warranty Surveyor and Contractor Hook Up team. Leads all Hook-up requirements of the Project, to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule. Accountable for Topsides & STP hook-up work produced by the Project.
- Interfaces with various project teams and departments on resolving related issues that require effective communication, initiative, flexibility and an ability to induce collaboration.

Minimum Requirements |
Technical and Business Skills | - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
- A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
- Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
- Good knowledge of electrical, instrument, telecom, piping and mechanical equipment

Qualifications | Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience. |
Knowledge and/or Experience | - Recommended 10+ years of experience in discipline with at least 8 years demonstrated senior engineering, installation and hook up experience in similar Topside major capital projects.
- Hook-Up Offshore experience with EPC contractors, sub-contractors and vendors involved in the oil and gas industry
- Worldwide experience with contractors in particular those involved in the Offshore LNG production facilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT
- Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards
- Practical and theoretical knowledge & experience for offshore lifting & marine units operation including jack-up barge & MWS interfaces
Excellent knowledge of hook up operation and process such as job cards preparation, planning and scheduling, pre-commisioing, good knowledge of commissioning, moblisataion and demoblisation of jack up barge, execution of hook up campaign, handing over the completed hook up scope, full knowledge of SIMOPS and permitting system are a must and readiness for commencing hook up. |
