We are seeking a seasoned Drilling Engineer to join our team in Gabon. This is a long-term expatriate role requiring deep expertise in drilling operations, with a focus on efficiency and safety. The Drilling Engineer will work on-site to plan, develop, and optimize drilling projects in a challenging yet rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement drilling programs tailored to specific project requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day drilling operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct technical evaluations to improve project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Analyze and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during drilling operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling engineering.
• Strong proficiency in English; French is a plus.
• Experience in expatriate roles, particularly in Africa, preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
