Job Opportunity: Facilities Construction Manager

Location: Wapiti Site (~30-45 minutes from Grande Prairie, AB)
Duration: January 2024 – February/March 2026
Shift: 14 days on / 7 days off, 12-hour day shifts

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction activities at the Wapiti site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project milestones are met, safety protocols are followed, and construction standards are maintained.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and oversee all facilities construction activities.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure schedules and budgets are adhered to.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
• Liaise with contractors, stakeholders, and site personnel to resolve challenges effectively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Construction Manager in facilities or related construction projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality assurance.
• Ability to work a 14/7 rotation with 12-hour shifts.

Additional Information:

• Candidates local to Grande Prairie are preferred, but applicants from other locations will also be considered.
• Competitive LOA and mobility allowances are provided to accommodate non-local candidates.

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $1,590 per day.
• Living Out Allowance (LOA): $220/day (covers accommodations and meals).
• Mobility Allowance: $500 per rotation.
