Location:          FIFO/DIDO – Ideally for candidates based in New South Wales or Victoria but open to other states
Job Type:         Permanent Staff – 2/2 rota, 5 weeks additional annual leave, up to 5% bonus with opportunity to progress.
 


Job Description:
Our client is seeking multiple experienced Horizontal Directional Drillers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating equipment such as Vermeer, Ditch Witch, Herrenknecht, Auger or similar maxi rig experience.  

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on drilling equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Work effectively with the drilling crew and site supervisors.

 
Requirements:

• Experience in HDD operations (Vermeer, Ditch Witch, or similar equipment preferred).
• Gyro experience advantageous.
• Pason (or similar) software experience preferred.
• Experience with other heavy machinery a bonus.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
