Control & Safety System Engineer 

Location: Nanterre, France
Duration: 12 months

We are seeking experienced Control & Safety System Engineers to join our dynamic team for a key engineering project in the Oil & Gas sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of a major international project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review technical specifications for DCS/SIS systems
• Design and review control system architectures (ICSS)
• Participate in basic and detailed ICSS studies
• Manage internal and external interfaces within the project
• Support validation activities related to control, safety, fire, and gas systems
• Prepare functional specifications, including control narratives, cause & effect matrices, and logic diagrams
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)

Required Skills and Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Control & Safety Systems, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector
• Expertise in ICSS for both Offshore and Onshore applications, including network architecture
• Strong understanding of Fire & Gas (F&G) regulations and processes in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience managing internal engineering disciplines and external interfaces with partners, subcontractors, and vendors
• Familiarity with LNG processes and related systems
• Strong knowledge of applicable standards such as ISA 5.1/2/3/4/5/6, IEC 61511/62443 (IEC 61511 certification such as TUV – QUALI-SIL is a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Visio)
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

• Expertise in Control & Safety Systems engineering
• Proven track record in ICSS installation, validation, and interfacing with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
