•    Carry out Manpower planning, resource planning, Performance reports, Progress reporting, design schedules and deliverables list for process discipline activities. 
•    Lead/Represent Process engineering department for Design review meetings, project kick off meetings and other project related coordination meetings with stakeholders/asset teams/vendors/contractors. 
•    Guide project engineers in interacting with Contractor and Contractor’s Process Designer / Process Licenser in resolving process related issues arising during detail engineering / commissioning / performance acceptance test / operation stages of the project facilities. 
•    Ensure the assigned work for the process department is carried out in compliance with applicable international codes, standards, KOC standards/specifications, and regulatory requirements. 
•    Guide the process design engineers in preparation and approval of process discipline documents/drawings including Design basis, design philosophies PFDs, P&IDs, MSDs, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Data Sheets, HMB calculations, process vessel sizing calculations, venting and depressurization calculations, pressure safety valve sizing calculations, control valve sizing etc. 
•    Lead and perform process engineering related Simulation and modelling of various software like UNISIM, ASPEN HYSYS, PIPEPHASE, OLGA, PIPESIM, Aspen FLARENET etc. 
•    Lead process engineering team in HSE studies including HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, QRA, PHSER, SIL etc. at various phases of Project execution. 
•    Verify and ensure close out of HAZOP/HAZID/QRA/PHSER Recommendations. 
•    Lead the engineering support for Pre Startup Safety Review (PSSR) and closure of findings. 
•    Coordinate with lead/project engineers and supporting staffs of other disciplines to meet overall project objective. 
•    Ensure required technical quality of work produced by Process engineering staff.
