Overview:
The Operational Safety Leader (OSL) will provide high-level HSSE leadership for the GranMorgu deepwater development project in Suriname. This role ensures full compliance with company referentials, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices across drilling and well operations. The OSL will oversee safety performance onshore and offshore, lead risk management initiatives, and drive continuous improvement in HSSE culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion HSSE standards and company principles across all operations.
• Oversee safety compliance for drilling and well activities on rigs and contractor bases.
• Develop and implement SIMOPS dossiers and emergency response plans.
• Manage HSSE KPIs, audits, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate training and competency programs for staff and contractors.
• Ensure robust reporting and communication using digital tools (MS Office, Power BI, Polarion, Synergi).

Qualifications:

• 15 years in upstream Oil & Gas; 6–10 years in HSSE leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s degree and HSSE certification.
• Offshore certifications: BOSIET CA-EBS HUET; Offshore Medical Certificate.
• Fluent in English; French or other languages are a plus.
