Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Vapor Recovery Unit (VRU) compressors, including diagnosis of mechanical failures, seal replacements, motor inspections, and optimization for emissions control.
- Maintain and troubleshoot Gas Lift systems, ensuring proper valve function, pressure regulation, and efficiency of artificial lift operations.
- Service and repair Aerial Reciprocating Compressors, including cylinder head work, rod packing, valve inspections, piston repairs, and vibration analysis.
- Conduct full mechanical maintenance on diesel generators, including fuel system diagnostics, alternator repairs, cooling system service, and engine overhauls.
- Work closely with production, automation, and operations teams to support daily field activities and ensure equipment readiness.
- Perform routine inspections, identify potential issues, and execute repairs to prevent unplanned downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs within company systems.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and operational guidelines.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and system modifications as needed.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience in VRU compressors, gas lift equipment, and reciprocating compression systems.
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and generator systems.
- Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals.
- Solid knowledge of oilfield production equipment and field operations.
- Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
