Maintenance Planning Engineer – Electrical

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planning Engineer (Electrical) to join a long-term project in Qatar.

Location: Mesaieed, Qatar (locally available candidates only)
Working Schedule: 5 days a week
Salary: QAR 20,000 – 23,000 (all inclusive)
Duration: 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule daily maintenance activities to ensure efficient and reliable operations
• Prepare detailed work packs, including manpower, materials, and timelines
• Coordinate with operations, contractors, and supply chain for smooth execution
• Develop preventive maintenance plans and improve existing maintenance strategies
• Monitor work progress and provide regular reports and KPIs
• Support contract handling, including scope development and invoice verification
• Ensure availability of spare parts and manage inventory coordination
• Contribute to annual maintenance planning and cost optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industry
• Strong experience in SAP (maintenance module, preferably S/4HANA)
• Experience in maintenance planning, work order management, and master data handling
• Good understanding of PTW system and HSE practices
• Strong coordination and communication skills
