Maintenance Planning Engineer – Instrumentation

We are hiring a Maintenance Planning Engineer (Instrumentation) for a long-term assignment in Qatar.

Location: Mesaieed, Qatar (locally available candidates only)
Working Schedule: 5 days a week
Salary: QAR 20,000 – 23,000 (all inclusive)
Duration: 5 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and organize maintenance activities to ensure high equipment reliability
• Prepare detailed job plans including scope, resources, and timelines
• Coordinate with internal teams and contractors for execution of maintenance work
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
• Monitor maintenance performance and generate reports
• Support procurement and ensure availability of required materials and spares
• Handle maintenance contracts and assist in technical evaluations
• Maintain accurate records in CMMS/SAP systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / Fertilizer industry
• Hands-on experience in SAP maintenance module (preferably S/4HANA)
• Strong knowledge in maintenance planning and work order processes
• Familiar with PTW system and HSE standards
• Good communication and coordination skills
