Job Purpose

Provide front line safety and technical leadership. Ensuring safe effective and efficient execution of Lifting, Rigging and Scaffolding activities in accordance with the project schedule and compliance to safety, quality and technical policies procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in relevant discipline and/or recognised industry trade qualifications (e.g., NVQ/City &Guilds, CITB/CISRS LOLER etc).
• Valid certifications issued by Internationally Recognized bodies

Knowledge and/or Experience

• More than (10) years proven experience within EPC and/or Client organization.
• Minimum of 15 years supervisory experience in lifting operations, lifting preparation (lift plans), lifting supervision, lifting equipment inspection and scaffolding.
• Demonstrate extensive experience in lifting & rigging especially in critical & heavy lifts in onshore Greenfield environment.
• Demonstrates sound written and verbal communication skills organizational

Technical and Business Skills

• Ability to read and translate approved for construction drawings.
• Ability to prepare, approve and /or verify lifting and scaffolding plans.
• Ability to work within document control systems reviewing, consolidating, and approving technical and project documents.
• IT literacy: Word, Excel, PDF, skills to support reporting, reviewing and communication requirements.
• Ability to read and translate primavera schedules.
