Job Purpose

 Develop, implement, and sustain an effective QA/QC management system for CAT III to VI projects and support CAT I&II projects with regards to interfaces to Asset, to ensure Project executed and delivered safely, and in compliance with company specifications, relevant international codes & standards, and applicable regulations of the State of Qatar.

Qualifications

 Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (IRCA), with experience in planning and leading internal and external QMS audits.

Knowledge and/or Experience

 8 years demonstrated practical experience of Projects QA/QC during phases of engineering, procurement, fabrication/construction and commissioning within the oil and gas industry with at least 3-years in supervisory/lead level, and experience with brownfield and greenfield onshore/offshore projects, and in- service modifications to existing LNG facilities together with maintenance and shutdown activities.

 Development, implementation and management of project quality assurance plans and programs for engineering design, procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up and commissioning of oil and gas production facilities projects. Development of quality system audit programs based on ISO 9001 and contractual requirements.

Technical and Business Skills

 Fluent in English language (demonstrated verbal and report writing skills).

 Computer literate, and competent with a variety of engineering software tools.

 Demonstrated QA/QC management skills in EPC project environment, including development of contractual quality requirements (pre-tender) and maintaining contractor interfaces (post-contract award).

 Strong technical background in welding and metallurgy, NDT, coatings and insulation, and fabrication techniques, with proven QC inspection, expediting and coordination experience.
