Job description:
- Leadership and coordination of all stages of the construction of the pyrolysis unit, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Ensuring compliance with construction schedules, timely identification of deviations, and taking corrective actions
- Coordination with EPC contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of works and equipment deliveries
- Verification of compliance of project and technical documentation with regulatory requirements and standards in industrial construction
- Quality control of construction, installation, and commissioning of equipment, as well as assessment of adherence to technical standards
- Management of the procurement and supply process for materials, equipment, and services for construction, including analysis of compliance with specifications and project requirements
- Ensuring compliance with industrial and environmental safety regulations, as well as internal company regulations
- Interaction with inspection and supervisory authorities regarding safety and compliance with technical requirements
- Decision-making on technical issues arising during construction and ensuring prompt resolution of problems
- Coordination of the commissioning of the pyrolysis unit, including checking the functionality of all systems and equipment before acceptance
- Providing reports on the work performed, if necessary
- Compliance with BiOT standards and other internal company regulations
- Completion of other assignments from senior management
- Higher (postgraduate) technical/engineering degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Key legislative and regulatory acts in the field of industrial construction and labor protection, as well as internal company documents
- Deep understanding of international standards and best practices in the construction and operation of petrochemical industry facilities (API, ASME, IEC, ISO, etc.)
- Knowledge of regulatory documentation on industrial safety and environmental protection, particularly requirements for facilities with hazardous materials (FNP OPO, NFPA, API, etc.)
- Deep knowledge and experience in risk management and safety during the construction and operation of pyrolysis units
- Experience and knowledge of comprehensive quality control processes, including control of project documentation, procurement, construction quality, and commissioning
- Knowledge of principles and methods of interaction with government supervisory authorities, contractors, and experts in industrial construction
- Ability to effectively lead a team and coordinate the activities of various functional departments to achieve project goals
- Knowledge of the basic principles of investment activity organization in industrial construction
- Knowledge of the organization, planning, and economics of design, procurement, and construction
- Proven skills in managing large projects and experience in implementing complex construction projects in the petrochemical industry
- Deep knowledge and experience working with project management systems and construction control software (MS Project, Primavera, SAP, and other specialized programs)
- Proficiency in government, Russian, and English languages
