Function description

Our client is a leading the industry standard in offshore works. With several upcoming projects, we are looking for QHSE personnel to visit the yards and ensure the safety of the crew and meet operational compliance.

• Lead QHSE initiatives in shipyards to ensure vessels meet all safety and operational standards before mobilization.
• Conduct inspections and Risk Assessments
• Collaborate with shipyard teams to establish, monitor, and enforce safety and quality protocols in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
• Act as the QHSE liaison between shipyard personnel, project managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate and thorough QHSE documentation, incident records, and compliance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Naval Architecture.
• 3-5 years in QHSE roles within shipbuilding, ship management, dry docking, and/or vessel mobilization.
• Profound knowledge of vessel safety standards, marine safety regulations, and shipyard safety protocols.
• Freelancers are highly encouraged, as this is intended to fill project-based roles

Due to the projects' location, a valid Dutch work visa is required.
