SCM Team Leader
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development. The work model for the role is: hybrid. #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion, System Drivers in Krakow. You will be mainly accountable for: • Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products. • Daily Processing of Purchase Requisitions, creation of Purchase Orders, regular contact with suppliers, Open Orders Management, issues resolution. • Collaborating closely with production planning, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. • Reporting your achievements regularly to track progress and identify areas for improvement. • Promoting and maintaining a culture of high-quality work and adherence to fundamental standards.

Qualifications for the role
- You are highly skilled in business English (C1) and German (B2/C1),
- You have 1+ years of experience in relevant field (Procurement/Logistics/Sales), demonstrating your ability to proactively address customer needs.
- Highly adept in using Excel and SAP, with a proven track record of leveraging these tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- You are passionate about excellent communication and customer focus, consistently showing a proactive attitude in your work.
