In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Lead a team of 6-10 engineers to unleash the value of systems & hardware through development of drivers & software.
- Lead the team to ensure all business deliverables are met, such as delivering new software features, enabling new hardware, sustaining, involved in researching/defining future direction of software, and helping support team resolve customer escalations.
- Manage projects from conception to delivery by driving project schedules through both direct ownership and delegation to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments (Hardware, Software, Support, Manufacturing) to ensure customer success and pursue opportunity-based projects.
- Interact with technical leaders, managers & product managers to define, direct, and execute on the evolution of software and hardware strategy.
- Mentor, develop and grow the career of team members.
- Effectively communicate with all product-line stakeholders including upper management.
Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:
- B.S. or M.S. in electronics engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience as a software engineer, plus 1-2 years of experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated understanding with the following technologies:
- C, C++ and Object-Oriented Programming.
- Programming for hardware & systems.
- Computer software and hardware architecture.
- Agile and waterfall project management tools.
- Scripting languages such as Python.
- Experience in the following areas will be an added advantage:
- Device driver development and Linux.
- Understanding of PC bus interfaces such as PCI, PCIe, SMBus, etc.
- Controller, computer or motherboard development experience.
- Experience in leading the team to deliver to project specs and deadlines.
