Job Description

Areaof Responsibilities

Service Delivery
  • Reporting and in-depth analysis of monthly financials (P&L, B/S, SRO / Forecast etc.) to support business reviews.
  • Develop meaningful and insight business metrics and work with business partners assist decision making process
  • Partner with business counter parts in Planning and Estimate processes and perform the actual Vs Plan/Est. variance analysis.
  • Operational expertise in STRAP/AOP/Estimate process.
  • Develop and implement financial trend reports to identify performance issues within the business and risks or opportunities in current financial Plan / Estimate.
  • Provide analysis and guidance for the Monthly Operations Reviews.
  • Partner with Facility management team in planning and optimization of real estate Opex / Capex
  • Ensure CAS compliance and work with Government compliance team for disclosure reporting
  • Partner with SBG/Us & COE Leadership to enhance current process metrics & performance measurement system in line with Honeywell as well as key industry practices.

BusinessPartnering
  • Partner with the business in driving key businessgoals and initiatives.
  • Develop suggestions for process improvements asneeded, to maximize scalability and minimize manual work.
  • Implement process improvement plans by developingtools and other solutions with cross functional teams.
  • Partner with business anddemonstrate insight of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, toprovide practical counsel to business counterparts and management in order todrive business results.

ProcessEfficiency
  • Exposure to Global Customers with ability to interacteffectively with all levels of employees/customers and align and integrate withother departments / sites.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvementswhich include driving efficiencies in the work area to speed up and improve thequality of output.
  • Identifying and introducing best practices that addvalue to the processes.
  • Provide reliable and accurate financial reportingthat exceeds existing standards and facilitates decision making.

Requirement

Indicatethe education level, previous experience, specific knowledge, skills andabilities required to meet the minimum requirements for this position

Knowledgeand Skills (general and technical)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP, Snowflake, Oracle, Essbase, Business Objects and Hyperion Financial Management and should have flexibility to adapt to different ERPs/Reporting tools.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with financial prudence.
  • Expert financial analysis skills; ability to think outside of traditional role to evaluate business implications
  • Highly self motivated and result oriented attitude.
  • Expert in systems with ability to develop complex financial models and reporting packages dealing with large amounts of data.
  • Knowledge on VB/ Macros will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with superior attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written); must be able to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Highly collaborative and willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
  • Finance/ Commerce / equivalent degree with min 6 yrs ofrelevant experience in FP&A.
  • CA,ICWAI, MBA, CIMA, CFA, CPA or equivalent qualifiedis an added advantage
  • Excellent analytical, modeling, and technical skillswith high attention to detail
  • Must be proficient with Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Expert Knowledge on STRAP/AOP/Estimateprocess
