Working as a Waste Assurance Technician in the Waste Network department is a crucial role in our business. Working in our Waste Network to ensure incidents are correctly assigned according to available information.

You will also be responsible for continuously driving improvements in the waste assurance team and provide first line assurance on the feedback from our contract partners.

We will look for you to support the Performance and Operational decision making with the provision of timely assured data.

Your key accountabilities in helping us will be:

  • To use all available evidence to investigate reported incidents and ensure they are classified correctly with sufficient supporting evidence.
  • To produce management information when required to help identify issues and drive performance improvement
  • To make all necessary changes on all systems to ensure the data is correct across multiple platforms
  • To identify pockets of great and poor quality on feedback and use this to drive improvement
  • To work as a team to ensure all required checks are completed to SLA's and quarterly deadlines
  • To be an expert point of contact for advice on incident classification

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

You'll ideally have excellent attention to detail and competency in using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, word etc and having worked with SAP CRM and ECC would be advantageous.

Having an understanding of Sewerage Operational Processes would be beneficial and an understanding of regulatory reporting requirements for sewer flooding incidents would be desirable. A major part of this role is investigative, piecing together data, audiovisual and written evidence to determine the correct classification and outcome for our customers.
