Our client, a leading electronics company, is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician with Logistics to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of the logistics team supporting gas and chemical operations in 11 buildings throughout Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Title: Gas & Chemical Technician with Logistics

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

What's the Job?

• Inventory management, offloading chemical storage, chemical deliveries, lifting materials, chemical and gas movement
• Forklift experience (certification is preferred), pallet jack
• Subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution
• Support and lead the technical challenges for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors
• Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment

What's Needed?

• Comprehensive knowledge of gas or chemical applications in wafer fabrication and emergency response
• Ability to ensure compliance when writing, editing, and executing operating and maintenance procedures and drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture
• Capability of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment
• Experience with barcode systems is a plus
• Must be able to work Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30 pm
