Wood is seeking expressions of interest from a Contract Coordinator with proven Oil & Gas Maintenance experience to join our Operations business in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is anticipated to be a permanent role to support of one of our key clients in the region with start date 1st quarter 2025.
Wood's Operations APAC (West) business delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, maintenance, optimization, and technical services to the Oil & Gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with the region's most prominent producers located in Western Australia, Northern Territory and Southeast Asia.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be the focal point for the contract and responsible for the implementation of the contract deliverables for our clients' assets. You will also be responsible for all logistics, planning, operations and maintenance resourcing, development activities, HSSE and quality control requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS
You will be an Australian citizen or be eligible to hold Permanent Residency (PR) to work lawfully in Australia. Those with visa applications already in progress are also encouraged to apply.
You must also be based in Darwin / willing to relocate to Darwin.
Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar Contracts Coordinator role, with 10 years maintenance experience, including 5 years in a supervisory maintenance role on a permanently staffed producing facility. In addition, you will have:

In addition, your responsibilities will be to:
- Manage and coordinate multidiscipline activities to ensure contract requirements are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner
- Identify and actively manage or resolve business risk or contract deliverable risks
- Ensure that adequate Contract Management and Project Controls are in place to optimize contract delivery
- Provide management leadership and guidance to the team. Ensure current and future and targets of the contract are met through active development of resources
- Continuously seek and review internal and external client feedback on contract performance to ensure client and organization targets and standards are maintained
- Manage and develop the team members with continuous review of individual and group performances
- Ensure company Policies are maintained whilst operating within different country's statutory and government regulations
- Actively contribute to a positive safety, quality and continuous improvement culture

- Extensive track record of successful operational and strategic delivery within the Oil & Gas sector
- An ability to interpret technical drawings, documents and management reports
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems preferred
- Excellent analytical, literacy and numerical skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to provide 'hands on' support as required
