Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis, LLC. (MD&A), a world class supplier of power generation repairs, services and parts, is seeking an engineering expert to support the MD&A generator repair and service division as the technical lead as follows:

• Provide technical support for shop and field related production questions and issues.
• Review and disposition non-conformance reports, design / production deviations, corrective actions, material substitutions, etc.
• Review all high end (generator capital) drawings produced by the design team for proper material callouts, dimensioning and tolerancing, special processing etc.
• Be the technical lead for all Generator Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop standards and improve workflow processes by creating and/or reviewing technical work instructions and procedures.
• Review and approve technical datasheet forms and generator technical reports.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for reference on critical topics (generator inspection and repair manual, lessons learned, case studies, procedures, specifications etc.).
• Create and present technical material for customer meetings, trade shows, seminars, and internal meetings.
• Support customer site meetings as requested, scoping, customer specification reviews, scope of work development, and proposal development for new opportunities.
• Mentor and train engineers, designer, and other technical resources within the generator service division.
• Salary based on experience.

Requirements

• BS/BA Engineering/Technical degree.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Generator Field Services and/or repair experience.
• Proficiency in PC technology.
• Excellent communication skills.
