Reimagine What's Possible
- Actively lead, participate, and support all Air Products Qudra safety programs, safe work practices, good housekeeping, and environmental compliance.
- Actively review, improve, refine, and update the Air Products Qudra Turnaround work process to consistently deliver world class performance and be an industry leader.
- Review safety plans for all outages work to be carried out and ensure its execution.
- Work with the appropriate plant contacts to identify upcoming plant turnarounds and develop a 3-year strategic plan for turnarounds.
- Review cost estimates, prepare work plans, and schedules for all Turnarounds in Air Products Qudra in order to ensure that they meet business objectives.
- Responsible for ensuring that maintenance best practices & procedures are consistently applied and followed in order to maintain the highest quality on repairs and sustain high on-streams at the lowest cost.
- Responsible to ensure that Management of Change requirements are in place for all turnaround activities & any changes, modifications or upgrades are documented and approved prior to implementation.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure Projects/Turnarounds costs and schedule are effectively managed throughout the various stages of a project.
- Develop a Turnaround organization chart reflecting target workforce loading for various roles during the Turnarounds.
- Review and maintain the risk register for all risk /issues /concerns related to Turnarounds and implement the mitigation plan to avoid, reduce or mitigate the risk /issues /concerns. Further support Project Controls Manager the quantification assessment for all types of risk before and after mitigation.
- Ensure that the Turnarounds are properly resourced /organized within Air Products Qudra and align with other stakeholders.
- Exercising management responsibility with respect to the appraisal in accordance with the competency assessment guideline, and training of competent project controls staff.
- Initiate and monitor weekly schedule status reviews, analysis of schedule trends and formulation of recommended corrective action.
- Responsible to oversee, implement, maintain, and support the continued development of enterprise management tools such as Primavera P3, P6, MS project etc. and contract management tools.
- Lead and oversee analyzes and evaluation of the Project's subcontract(s) for various Projects and Turnarounds.
- Develop a strategic plan for the upcoming Turnarounds in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Develop packages for the subcontractors /vendors and review the bids technically and commercially and provide recommendation for the selection of right subcontractors/vendors.
- Define all the deliverables and KPI for the various subcontractors and vendors and monitor during execution phase and addressing the gaps on right time in order to avoid any impact on the cost and schedule on the overall plan of Turnarounds.
- Review the Subcontractors/vendors the final close out reports and prepare the overall Turnaround Report along with lessons learnt and providing the recommendation for upcoming Turnaround Strategy.
- Issue Field Change Orders (FCO's) for additional work and forward to Operations Project Manager and O&M Director for approval.
- The basic function of this role is to supervise, oversee the execution, and coordinate the entire work scope of the Turnarounds.
