Context & Environment

The Wind Yield Engineering team of OneTech consists of approximately 15 engineers based in Paris and Montpellier. Established in 2021, this relatively young team has experienced significant growth. We regularly exchange ideas and updates during our weekly organisational and technical meetings. The team is led by several lead engineers who specialize in various yield disciplines, including onshore, offshore, measurement, and methodology.

We are fortunate to be involved in all the onshore and offshore wind projects within the Company, providing us with a comprehensive view of the entire portfolio.

The suitable candidate will be incorporated into the Offshore Wind Measurements Team.

Activities

As a Wind Measurement Data Analyst Intern (M/F), your tasks will include developing Python (or other) scripts to process scanning LiDAR datasets with the aim of industrializing their use for offshore wind measurement campaigns and providing support to the technical project manager of a scanning LiDAR demonstration project by providing the indicated analysis on incoming data to gather evidence supporting the scientific plan.

You will work within a team of experienced professionals and alongside a tutor-coach, who will be your future job reference. Individualized support will help you enhance your autonomy and lead you to your diploma!

Candidate Profile

Currently enrolled in an engineering school or a Master's program in the field of engineering, are you looking for a 6-month end-of-study internship starting in March 2025?

Do you have initial experience with operating systems and knowledge of programming languages, particularly Python (Jupyter)? Are you familiar with the principles of scientific communication and techniques for visualizing and indexing scientific data? Knowledge of wind energy and wind resources would be a plus.

Are you comfortable with office software and familiar with the Office suite? You will primarily use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Are autonomy, rigor, and team spirit integral parts of your qualities? Do you know how to take initiative?
