Design Engineer will report to Engineering Manager -in Airports Business. As a Design Engineer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Good Electrical engineering knowledge, should have adequate knowledge of engineering symbol, can do load calculation, selection of all hardware require for panel, should do independent load calculation, cable selection, MCB selection, fuse selection etc.
• Preparation of cabinet wiring design on E-plan software.
• Generate BOQ and cable schedule from E-plan software.
• Must knowledge for BIM
• Cable routing layout, earthing design.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and their symbol as per international standard.
• Firm knowledge of electrical safety roles.
• Able to understand and calculate electrical circuits Loads.
• Strong knowledge and experiences on electrical power supply and distribution.
• Design of airport engineering projects including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting and VDGS layout etc.
• Preparation of engineering design reports, construction plans, and contract documents / technical specifications.
• Designing of AGL, Preparation BOQ from drawing provided by client/ consultant.
• Knowledge of ICAO, FAA, Airfield lighting system.
• Must knowledge Cabinet drawings
• Knowledge of electrical drawing, Symbols, abbreviation, Legend as per international standard.

1) Degree/Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering

2) 5-8 years of experience in the Electrical engineering field; aviation related experience and knowledgeable of FAA criteria a plus

3) Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.

4) Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced position.

5) Goal and deadline orientated.

6) Excellent interpersonal skills

7) Excellent verbal and written communication skills

8) Proficiency in AutoCAD, E-plan, BIM, and Microsoft Office

9) Knowledge of electrical component their symbol as per international standard
