Your Role as a Journeyman HVAC Technician

At BME, you won't just be another technician-you'll be a valued member of our community. With 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience, you'll be relied upon for your expertise and will have the chance to shape our growing service offerings. Here's how you'll contribute while continuing to develop your own career:

1. Commercial HVAC Mastery
   
   • Apply your hands-on experience to install, service, and maintain various commercial HVAC systems (rooftop units, chillers, boilers, etc.).
   • Share your knowledge and expertise with others on the team, reinforcing BME's collective skill set.
2. Collaborative Troubleshooting
   
   • Work alongside fellow technicians and supervisors to diagnose issues and propose cost-effective solutions.
   • Use your analytical skills to ensure all systems are up to code, efficient, and safe for our clients and community.
3. Team-Focused Communication
   
   • Collaborate with dispatchers, project managers, and leadership, ensuring all parties have the information and resources they need.
   • Mentor newer technicians when opportunities arise, helping them grow their skills and thrive in their roles.
4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
   
   • Stay informed about the latest HVAC technologies and advancements-BME offers training and certifications so you can stay at the cutting edge.
   • Bring your ideas and suggestions to the table. We value your input on improving processes, selecting equipment, and enhancing the customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Experience & Expertise: At least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience as a Journeyman or similar role.
• Technical Know-How: Familiarity with various HVAC systems, including reading schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Certifications & Credentials: EPA certification (and others like NATE) are always appreciated-but we're also happy to help you attain them if you haven't already.
• Team Spirit: A collaborative mindset, commitment to safety, and a genuine interest in supporting your fellow technicians and customers.
