The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Construction Manager (On Site) to become an integral part of our dynamic project team, reporting to the project director. In this pivotal leadership role, you will be responsible for managing the construction of a Flag ship EPC Oil and Gas project, ensuring the successful delivery while upholding our reputation for excellence in safety, quality and service.

As a senior member of the team, you will work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including engineering disciplines, business functions, company management, and client representatives. Your ability to foster strong relationships and ensure seamless coordination is crytical in delivery of the project.

You will oversee the operational processes essential for the project completion, ensuring that both staff members and vendors meet the highest standards of performance. you will ensure projects run smoothly while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance processes, Schedule and cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on progress to Project Manager and Client.
  • Manage overall construction schedule performance, mitigations, develop and execute construction sequencing strategies, oversee 4WLA process and readiness.
  • Manage Budget, cost, Productivity for construction and ensure effective financial management.
  • Plan and manage mobilisation of supervision and blue-collar workers to maximise productivity.
  • Conduct construction risk assessments for high-risk tasks.
  • Engage and liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality standards are met and rework is minimised.
  • Foster and maintain strong client relationships to identify and pursue additional opportunities.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have extensive years of experience in Oil and Gas, LNG, or Hydrocarbon Projects, with a strong focus on HSE initiatives, ensuring safety and compliance across all activities. You will have a proven track record in managing construction schedules, budget and cost performance, and productivity while executing effective construction sequencing strategies. Experience in overseeing the 4WLA process, managing an extremely large workforce and conducting risk assessments for high-risk tasks is essential.

Your ability to engage with stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships will be key, while ensuring quality standards and minimizing rework. Candidates must be able to take a leadership role in delivering large-scale projects successfully.
