Your role and responsibilities
As a Marketing Specialist, you will take ownership of marketing and communications (marcom) activities for Emergency Lighting across Europe. You will join the Van Lien emergency lighting team. This department specialized in providing emergency lighting products, solutions and services. Based in Rotterdam, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating the creation of sales tools, Documentations, product launches, support and improve Brand visibility, creating and maintaining web pages, and organizing social media content. Additionally, you will assist in preparing exhibitions and collaborate on global product-related initiatives such as catalogues and digital platforms. In this role, you will also supervise and coordinate the work of assistants to ensure smooth execution of projects and drive customer satisfaction survey. As the European MarCom Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence across the region. Collaborating closely with local teams, you will oversee a wide range of marketing and communication initiatives to drive engagement and business growth. Key responsibilities include: • Driving product launches and updating master data catalogues. • Creating and maintaining web pages for product information. • Managing social media: Lead the creation and execution of engaging social media campaigns to strengthen our online presence and build a vibrant community. • Advancing Digitalization: Spearhead digital marketing initiatives that leverage cutting-edge technologies to improve outreach and efficiency. • Support and Lead Branding visibility • Exploring E-commerce and AI Opportunities: Assess and potentially implement e-commerce strategies and AI-driven solutions to stay ahead in a competitive landscape. • Organization of trade exhibitions. • Supervising and coordinating assistants within the marketing team. • Organize and drive satisfaction survey. • Supporting global product marketing initiatives such as Branding strategy, catalogues and digital solutions.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar marketing role.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
- Analytical mindset with a passion customer satisfaction.
- Ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization internal and external.
