The procurement team plays a pivotal role in the strategic sourcing of goods and services essential for delivering our wind energy solutions to clients. Collaborating with a cross-functional team of stakeholders, we focus on cultivating supplier partnerships that foster sustainable growth and enhance value for our customers.

This exciting new position is integral to our expanding team, engaging in a diverse range of wind projects—from initial sales discussions to comprehensive decommissioning assistance.

Vestas Technology & Operations > Procurement APAC > Service Solutions Procurement APAC

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and roll-out a strategy to drive local content across the ANZ region
    • Build relationships with local businesses in key renewable energy zones
    • Engage with clients to align with their local content approaches
    • Conduct reviews to ensure subcontractors meet local content requirements
    • Support teams in integrating local content requirements into RFPs and contracts


Qualifications:
  • Well-developed knowledge of Offshore renewables supply chain
  • Qualification or relevant industry experience in engineering, business, law or finance
  • Solid business insight and an interest in the energy industry
  • Exposure to an ERP (SAP/Ariba) is beneficial but not essential


Competencies:
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Shows initiative and creativity in finding solutions
  • Sociable and communicative approach
