This Position reports to:
Operations Manager

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the execution of large and complex projects and ensures that all related activities are per-formed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments. You will support the Local Division and Operations Managers in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries in Jakarta, Indonesia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.
• Providing leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.
• Supporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.
• Driving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.

What it takes to Run what runs the world

• Master or bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution; Accredited qualification in Business Management is added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of total engineering and project management experience, at least 5 years in senior project management role.
• Strong Leadership and business management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid professional with proven success in delivering complex solutions in Process Industries, including, but not limited to the scope of Automation Systems, Electrical, E-house, Digital Solutions.
• Experience in delivering Large Projects (>5MUSD) in Process industries will be required. Experience in Pulp & Paper, Mining industry in the South East Asia will be preferred.
• Intimate knowledge of solutions bundling ( Process Electrification, Large E-houses, Automation Systems, Filed Instruments, Power Management System).
