The Service department is responsible for the normal functioning of the Customers' Wind Farms, ensuring the highest performance level for each turbine life cycle, aiming to secure long term collaboration with our Customers.

You need to be located near Settingiano (maximum 30 minutes away). Besides, you'll be travelling between 30%-50% of the time, between Settingiano and Pisticci.

Responsibilities:
Key tasks for Supervisor role are:
Daily Management and Service Coordination
- Supervise and guide the assigned staff, ensuring positive and effective working relationships.
- Resolve issues with external service providers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Process technician requests for planned absences.
- Manage service crew composition for medium- and long-term planning.
Performance Oversight and Quality Control
- Monitor technician performance and work to ensure effective cost control.
- Approve work performed and technician time sheets.
- Correct errors in time registration and reporting made by technicians in backend systems.
Operational Delivery and Process Adherence
- Ensure services are delivered at an operational level with strict adherence to processes, service quality, safety standards, and performance metrics.
- Continuously monitor and track site performance to support improvement.
- Implement and maintain defined processes, procedures, and tools according to Vestas standards.
- Ensure compliance with regional laws, regulations, and safety requirements.
Staff Development and Resource Management
- Develop staff skills, competencies, and training initiatives, including safety-related activities (e.g., Safety Walks & Talks).
- Ensure resource availability for the completion of dedicated work orders.
- Manage cost control and mitigation through continuous follow-up on Service P&L.
Requirements:
- Education: minimum Technical Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical)
- Experience: Professional experience in Operations (at least 5 - 6 years)
- Specific knowledge:
- Knowledge: Maintenance / Safety regulations
- Languages: English (Basic)
- IT: Office software
- Skills: Result Oriented / Organization / Initiative
- Business understanding: Organizational knowledge: medium (process & product)
- Market Knowledge: medium (customers / suppliers / regulations)

- Experience in overseeing a team;
- Understanding, knowledge and insight of technical and mechanical systems and turbine components;
