Join our team as a Construction Coordinator III and play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operation of our construction camp(s) in North Slope, Alaska.
Role Overview
- Oversee camp operations and lead field safety and environmental performance.
- Attend and participate in daily contractor meetings and facilitate traffic patterns and safety measures.
- Monitor camp cleanliness and food services, and handle any conflicts or issues that may arise.
- Proactively lead HSE performance by enforcing policies and procedures and conducting trainings.
- Assist with booking flight reservations and coordinating ground transportation as needed.
- Collaborate with other camp coordinators and assist with their duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in camp maintenance, management, or equivalent hotel operations.
- Advanced knowledge of Arctic conditions and experience managing interfaces between contractors.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Experience in safety engagement meetings and enforcing safety processes.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple ongoing activities.
- Knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations and procedures.
- Experience with camp billeting, flight reservations, or travel planning is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in ITIL or Microsoft are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in camp maintenance, management, or equivalent hotel operations.
