Job Summary.

Looking for a field service technician to support workshop activities and field operations in Abu Dhabi (Musaffah). The role is measured by the accurate fulfilment of contracted specification and/or requirements and the generation of new/repeated business. The service technician is expected to support the Completion Tools product line within the assigned work area/Abu Dhabi & MENA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service, repair, overhaul, inspect and identify faults on NOV Completion Tools Equipment.
• Electrical, Mechanical and hydraulic servicing, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and repair.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Make recommendations on improving product and systems efficiency, maintaining continuous and high levels of operation.
• Report and update relevant documentation like but not limited to product bulletin customer daily reports and service reports.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings/schematics to identify and correct faults, redline drawings/schematics.
• Escalate key faults or product failures to relevant department and progress through to resolution.
• Promote HSE plans and support the continuous developing of internal policy.
• Promote incident prevention for the benefit of employees and customers.
• Inspects NOV equipment for conformance with operational standards.
• Where necessary, liaise closely with other operational teams to ensure continuous improvement of all systems and processes.
• Carry out fault finding, repair and recommendations in a timely manner without compromising safety or quality.
• Be aware of and adhere to HSE requirements whilst working on both onshore/offshore installations.
• Cleaning and management of assigned tools, preparation of toolbox.
• Communicate with his supervisor regularly, on all aspects of service.
• Complete reporting, download the job packs, prepare and submit the report for each and every job on timely manner to prepare the billing paperwork.
• Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/SKILL-SET REQUIRED:

• Diploma degree and above.
• 0-1 year of experience in Manufacturing, Oil & Gas field experience or other industries.
• Hard-working.
• Motivated.
