JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the design, development, and management of solar and energy storage construction and/or service projects. Provide support on electrical design, estimation, procurement and project management on commercial, industrial, and utility scale solar and/or energy storage construction and/or service projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of project management experience in the solar energy sector.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages project related functions and activities. Includes extensive communication with clients, subcontractors, other business units, and vendors to develop and finalize project scope, design, estimate, control documents, and final project package in compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Ensures construction and project activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule on time and within budget.
  • Provides technical support for construction and service efforts including participation in construction planning and design; interpretation of design; application of construction methods; resolution and documentation of design conflicts; constructability reviews, etc.
  • Develops, implements, and administers project procedures and other work controlling documents.
  • Represents company, project, and/or department during A/E, client and project management meetings.
  • Interfaces with all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
  • Assists in development and compilation of permit packages for submission to various AHJ's.
  • Attends site visits and onsite meetings as identified by project scope and contracting requirements.
  • Provides analysis and recommendations on components required to ensure the feasibility/constructability of a specified job.
  • Troubleshoots and problem solves independently to resolve challenges as they arise throughout the development and construction process.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
